Born in Venice in 1963.
Afro Celotto started working with glass as a young boy, apprenticing with Lino Tagliapietra and worked as first assistant to the legendary master for 12 years.

Working now in his own studio, Afro Celotto developed the art of glass blowing to heights, comparable only to his master.

Afro Celotto uses the most complex and difficult technique called "tociar piera" or filigree. The combination of his amazing skills with soaring artistic imagination results these stunning masterpieces in glass.
His works are among the highlights of Arte Vetro Gallery and we are very proud to represent Afro Celotto in Israel.
